I’ve worked with Alice Mathieson on two projects, and have seen and admired her non-corporate work as well.   I do not often write letters of recommendation, but in Alice’s case, I am pleased to do so.

In my opinion, Alice has a rare gift of being able to observe individuals and organizations, and get at the very essence through her work. She is an excellent listener and has a great intuitive feel for people, which she is able to convey, with great skill and sensitivity, through images and sounds.

To put the matter as succinctly as possible, Alice is a superb storyteller and chronicler, and I highly recommend her for any video project you undertake.   She has proven, over and again, the desire and commitment to go beyond her customers’ expectations.

Alice and her team were a pleasure to work with. When we needed help to finish our Employee Orientation video on a tight time line, Alice was there. What started out as an internal project ended up better than I could have imagined with the expertise of Life & Times, and I am very grateful for it!

Alice understood our vision and wanted us to keep close to our original plan, and melded that with their creative take on the video. I felt very comfortable in trusting their instincts and expertise. Through out the whole process Alice was also very open to the changes I wanted, and no matter how small they were. She also sent me the video every step of the way so I could be involved in every decision, and drove out numerous times to discuss the video in person.

The ROI on this video is great as we can orientate our employees across the county without any of us being there. Our culture gets introduced through the DVD so each and every employee gets the same experience and puts faces to names. Training remains consistent!

What they came up with was beyond what I could have imagined from the music to the graphics to the final presentation – amazing. Our company’s history and organizational culture was captured. The reviews of the video have been fantastic, and our new employees start off their first day inspired because of this fantastic video! It was a great pleasure to work with Alice, and I hope to do so again soon!
